Delete Your Account

You can delete your cruu account and all associated personal data at any time. There are two ways to do this.

Option 1 — Delete in the app

1. Open the cruu app and sign in.
2. Open the menu and go to Profile.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm and re-enter your password when prompted.

Your account is deleted immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, email us from the address associated with your account:

We will verify your request and delete your account and associated data within 30 days.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• Your account and profile (email and name);
• Journeys ("cruus") you created — these are deleted and their members removed;
• Your membership in journeys created by others;
• Your invitations and notifications;
• Your most recent location data, if any.

cruu does not retain a history of your past locations. For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
